At the 2025 Mini World Cup, each team will represent a different country. Join the fun with the Parade of Nations—dress up, explore new cultures, and cheer your team to victory!
Important Details
PLAYER INFORMATION
The Mini World Cup is open to players U8–U11 (born 2017–2014) registered to participate in BC Soccer Sanctioned events*. Teams consist of 8–12 players and compete in the age group of their oldest player.
U8 (2017) and U9 (2016) games are played 5v5.
U10 (2015) and U11 (2014) games are played 6v6.
Divisions: Community Level and Advanced Level (available for all age groups). Boys and girls compete in separate divisions. Mixed teams will compete in the boys' division.
Schedule: Each team plays four games—two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
* If any player on your team is not registered to participate in a BC Soccer Sanctioned event, they must apply for a BC Soccer Short-Term Event Player Permit. The permit fee is $15.75 per player (including GST). If your team includes unregistered players, please complete the Short-Term Registration Permit and email it to mark.bell@crysa.bc.ca.
COACHES INFORMATION
Please arrive 1 hour before your first game to collect your team's tournament package:
U8 and U9: Pick up at the Campbell River Sportsplex
U10 and U11 Pick up at the Rotary Community Field House
Pre-tournament details will be shared in advance—please ensure they’re passed along to your team.
For coaches not registered with a BC Soccer Sanctioned club, please email proof of compliance with safesport requirements to mark.bell@crysa.bc.ca.
